An authors’
toolbox is a collection of resources for their readers that will assist in the
writing process. The toolbox comprises six components:
INTRODUCTION TO a Concept:
This
four-page handout guides students through the basics of the process of writing
an essay. Using understandable language and genuine instances, it offers a
foundation for solid academic writing in nearly any genre.
Choosing A TOPIC:
It explains
not only how to select a topic for a specific assignment, but also how to utilize
life experiences to develop a library of possible ideas to utilize in the
future.
Marking AN OUTLINE:
Authors know
that a flawless structure is important for writing clarity and effectiveness.
Outlines often make the difference between an essay that walks or unsuitably
separates versus one that meets its purposes. This handout assists students to learn
the methods of creating an outline, including an instance.
Establishing An Assumption STATEMENT:
An
assumption statement of any essay sets out its controlling aim, and a strong assumption
statement guides and effects writing in a way a weak one cannot. This handout searches
how to establish a strong assumption statement through instances of what not to
do with partner revisions.
Instructions FOR REVISING An UNeven DRAFT:
An ability
to truly amend, not just make superficial alternates, is as rare as it is important.
This handout has two parts. In the first, writers are instructed on how to reach
their drafts with new readers and really revise it. In the second, a squint editing
task is shared that will let teachers have multiple students give reviews to
the writer on various factors of the essay before the revision.
If you are a writer, then follow these tools before publishing your book
